I have been travelling and making performance for the last nine years, in Europe and Australia. My desire to connect with people and places through performance has lead me into many unexpected situations, arts and theatre festivals and the borderzones of the direct action movement, underground temporary autonomous places and the outback. For me the role of the travelling performer is to take messages from one place to another, transforming and being transformed in the process.

I believe in making work with a message and I don't mind to get involved in politics and protest as long as it is not at the expense of poetry. I think that the old feminist line "the personal is political" is true, even at the most basic level of the body, there is room for debate, there is struggle. Since having a baby my life has been more settled and there is less time for art, but I have come to view growing and looking after a baby as a fundamental creative process. Also exhausting, messy and hilarious..
